I believe a successfully designed space should not only be beautiful, but functionally responsive to its occupants as well.My past and present affiliations with interior design and architectural firms has provided me with a greater knowledge of the design process from both the technical and creative aspects. Understanding building code issues, structural limitations, building envelope criteria and the impact of mechanical and electrical systems on a space has given me better problem-solving abilities in my role as an interior designer. Establishing the interior design element as an integral part of the overall design process results in the creation of beautiful, functional spaces...and happy clients.
